Introduction.

With the results of our work on the previous frameworks, we have all the material we need to pitch our business properly to anyone.

To do this, we’ll start by defining what a pitch is, what it’s for, and why we must create our own pitch to perfection.

Then, we’ll look at all the tricks we can use to build a truly effective pitch.

Finally, we’ll use the pitch deck template at the end of the framework to help us create our own.

(Re)defining the pitch.

Tout le monde parle tout le temps de pitch à en oublier ce que ça veut vraiment dire.

Avant de partir en live, on va se pencher deux secondes sur l’étymologie du mot pitch.

“Pitch” a une quantité débile d’origines et de sens en anglais.

Le pitch c’est à la fois :

• la hauteur des notes de musique
• le nom désignant un terrain (comme un terrain de foot par exemple)
• l’intensité d’un signal
• le fait de lancer quelque chose (… comme une balle)
• le tangage (le fait de créer un mouvement de rotation sur l’axe transversal d’un objet, comme un avion par exemple)
